As we can see from table 1, industry in Azerbaijan develops promptly. There
are increases in portion of GDP, average salary and fixed assets. Thus average
salary in Azerbaijan in 2011 was equal to 364 AZN and in 2012 to 519 AZN,
however average salary in the industry was equal to 519 and 600 respectively. At
the same time the investments into the industry decreased from 69% in 2010 to
42% in 2011. At the same time number of companies working in the industry
decreased from 2650 to 2508 and number of employees decreased from 200
thousands to 182 thousand from 2010 to 2011.
