The importance of studying
The importance of the study is represented by two main axes:
Scientific importance:
1. the importance of this study stems from the impact of internal and external factors
and influences on the Syrian crisis. The Arab literature and studies in this field did not
fully address the issue. This study will be followed by analyzing this position of the
Syrian crisis (2011-2018).
2. Practical importance: the practical importance of this study comes from the Chinese
position, because the party is one of the main elements in the international system,
which is embodied in China. It focuses on Syria and the effects of the Syrian crisis on
the regional level. It deals with the impact of internal and external variables and the
nature of the Chinese position towards the Syrian crisis.
Objectives of the study:
This study aims to examine the nature of the Chinese attitude towards the Syrian
revolution and the subsequent events and repercussions of the revolution's transition to
being considered an internationalized crisis, which affected the nature of the events on
Syrian soil and the escalation of the Syrian crisis at the international and regional levels.
The limits of the study
1. Spatial boundaries: Syria.
2. Time Limits: The period of study starts from 2011 to 2018 because the year (2011)
marks the beginning of the Syrian revolution.
Divisions of the study
The study is divided into two sections as follows:
The first topic: The Syrian crisis;
First: The causes of the Syrian crisis;
The second demand: the repercussions of the Syrian crisis;
The second topic: the Chinese position on the Syrian crisis 2011-2018;
First requirement: China's foreign policy;
The second requirement: China's economic interests in Syria;
Third: China's position on the Syrian crisis;
